What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 12 noon and check-out is by 10 am. If your train or taxi lands at an awkward hour, message us before you travel — we will tell you honestly whether an early check-in or a late check-out is possible on your dates rather than leaving you to find out at the desk.
Is there hot water and Wi-Fi?
Hot water runs 24 hours, and every room has Wi-Fi. Mussoorie mornings are cold enough that a fixed geyser timing would be a real problem, so we do not have one.
How far is Mall Road?
We are at Gandhi Chowk, beside the Library Bus Stand — the Library end of Mall Road. The promenade begins about two minutes away on foot, so you can walk out in the evening and walk back whenever you like.
How do I book, and is there any commission?
Send us a message on WhatsApp or call. You deal with the hotel directly — no travel portal, no agent, no commission added to your tariff. We confirm the room and rate for your dates, and share payment details once you are ready to hold the room.
Which rooms have a balcony or a valley view?
Super Deluxe and Superior rooms open onto balconies. Which of them face the open valley depends on the floor and the room, so tell us what you are hoping for when you write to us and we will tell you honestly what is available on your dates.
What food do you serve?
Home-style vegetarian food cooked in our own kitchen, with egg dishes on the menu. We are not a pure-vegetarian kitchen. If anyone in your group needs food without onion and garlic, or simple food for elders and small children, tell us in advance and we will arrange it.
We are travelling with children. How many people can share a room?
Our rooms are priced for two adults, but families travel in all shapes and we handle it case by case rather than by a rigid rule. Tell us who is coming — adults, children and their ages — and we will suggest the right room or combination of rooms.
Can you arrange taxis and local sightseeing?
Yes. Tell us your plan — Gun Hill, Camel's Back Road, Kempty, Landour, or a pickup from Dehradun — and we will arrange it through drivers we work with regularly.
